I am a Ph.D. student in Linguistics at the City University of New York, Graduate Center. My research interests are in phonetics, laboratory phonology, second language acquisition, and prosody.

My current research is investigating unstressed vowel reduction in two varieties of Bulgarian, and phonetics and phonology of unstressed vowel reduction in Brazilian Portuguese. Future research plans include investigating positions of the tongue and jaw associated with vowel reduction using EMA.
